E-Business Platform for Enterprise Green Logistics Management: A Case Study of Logistics Business in Bangkok, Suburban Areas, and Laem Chabang

This research examines the gap between Thailand's green logistics aspirations and current technological capabilities, as highlighted during the 2022 APEC Summit. With the introduction of the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) Economy Model, there is an urgent need to align logistics technology with sustainability goals. Key challenges include rising greenhouse gas emissions, maritime transportation delays, and climate change impacts, all contributing to higher operational costs. To address these issues, this study proposes the development of an electronic business platform for green logistics management and Carbon Footprint calculation, particularly in road freight operations. The platform will facilitate zero-emission truck adoption and Carbon Credit investment, creating sustainable revenue streams for the logistics sector. By enhancing logistics infrastructure and supporting E-commerce and advanced transportation technologies, this research contributes to Thailand's economic strategy and the transition toward sustainable logistics operations.
