Huygens’ Surface Modeling using RWG Basis Function for Radiated Emission Prediction

A novel approach for computing the coefficients of RWG basis functions on a Huygens’ surface is presented in this paper. An accurate and efficient modeling of such a Huygens’ surface will enable modeling the radiative properties of sub-systems in a system-level simulation without revealing the inner intellectual property of such sub-systems. The optimal positioning and shape of the Huygens’ surface is explored to reduce computational resources while achieving minimal relative error.

Abstract

A novel approach for computing the coefficients of RWG basis functions on a Huygens’ surface is presented in this paper. An accurate and efficient modeling of such a Huygens’ surface will enable modeling the radiative properties of sub-systems in a system-level simulation without revealing the inner intellectual property of such sub-systems. The optimal positioning and shape of the Huygens’ surface is explored to reduce computational resources while achieving minimal relative error.
