Smart IoT based Nutrition Alert System for Hydroponic Plant Growth

Hydroponic farming is a soilless cultivation method that requires precise nutrient management to support plant growth and maximize yield. However, maintaining balanced nutrient levels remains a significant challenge, as improper nutrient distribution can lead to reduced crop productivity. This study presents an IoT-based nutrition alert system that continuously monitors and regulates nutrient concentrations in hydroponic environments. The system integrates IoT sensors to capture real-time data, which is analyzed using an intelligent algorithm to detect nutrient imbalances. It then provides alerts and actionable recommendations to maintain optimal nutrient levels. The proposed system ensures efficient nutrient utilization, reducing dependency on manual monitoring and intervention. By improving nutrient efficiency, the system enhances crop productivity, reduces resource wastage, and supports sustainable hydroponic farming. Experimental results confirm its effectiveness in maintaining proper nutrient balance, leading to healthier plant growth and increased yield.
