Enhancing zinc anode stability <i>via</i> dual-additive electrolyte engineering
This study proposes a dual-additive electrolyte strategy based on NADH and KI to enhance the stability of the zinc anode. The specific adsorption of NADH on the zinc surface forms an effective anti-corrosion barrier, while I- homogenizes the Zn2+ flux, promoting stable deposition. The optimized electrolyte significantly improves the cycle life of zinc-ion hybrid capacitors, achieving stable operation for over 20 000 cycles.
