Evaluation of repellents for management of ambrosia beetles (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) in nursery production
Beetle Guard #2 and Beetle Guard #3 effectively reduced ambrosia beetles in ornamental nursery production. Although Beetle Guard #3 was the most effective formulation tested, further work is needed to optimize application strategies, including dose and spacing requirements, to improve field-level efficacy for managing ambrosia beetle attacks in nurseries. © 2025 Society of Chemical Industry.
