ECONOMIC SECURITY OF RUSSIA: THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS AND EVOLUTION OF THE CONCEPT

Geo-economic challenges that Russia has faced in recent years have made the problem of economic security of the country topical, and it is important to clarify the existing theoretical and methodological foundations of this discipline. The article considers the contribution of the fundamental theorists of economic security in Russia — L. I. Abalkin and V. K. Senchagov. The author has developed a periodization of conceptualization of economic security from 1991 to 2025, which includes four stages. The methodology of economic security is presented as a synthesis of methodologies of its various aspects — resource, system, institutional and spatial.
