Advisory referendum and termination of the function of the president: Yes or no?
Recently, an interesting proposal was presented to the public, from a legal and political point of view. Namely, the President of the Republic announced the possibility of calling an advisory referendum by the National Assembly, which would concern the support the President enjoys among the citizens. Of course, although advisory, it could lead to the termination of the office of the President of the Republic. It goes without saying that such a proposal has caused conflicting reactions, so the intention of this paper is to provide an answer to the question, is an advisory referendum on such a question allowed or not?
