Construction and empirical research on the index system of competitiveness evaluation of ice-snow industry in China
The study draws on the theory of diamond modeling and integrates the use of the literature method, expert interviews method, principal component analysis method, cluster analysis method, etc. The research constructs a competitiveness evaluation model of China's ice and snow industry containing 16 indicators in four dimensions, including production factors, demand conditions, ontology and related industrial factors, opportunities and government behavior to comprehensively evaluate the competitiveness of China's ice and snow industry. The results of the study show that in the construction of the evaluation index model, the contribution of basic elements, demand elements, ontology elements, and related elements to the competitiveness of the ice and snow industry is 51.02%, 32.78%, 9.02%, and 7.18%, respectively. The competitiveness of the ice and snow industry in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and other regions ranks at the forefront of China. On this basis, combined with the competitiveness of the ice and snow industry in each region, the study explores the path to improve the competitiveness of the industry and puts forward suggestions, with a view to continuously releasing the effectiveness of the ice and snow industry and promoting the high quality of the ice and snow industry in the post-Winter Olympics era.
