Based on the Perspective of Transmission and Distribution Prices Forecasting the Investment Capacity of Power Grid Infrastructure
With the deepening of power sector reform, the requirements for transmission and distribution (T&D) pricing regulation have become increasingly stringent, making scientifically sound and reasonable investment planning critical for operational optimization. This paper analyzes the impact of T&D pricing regulation policies on investment and explores the driving and constraining relationships among key indicators such as grid investment, pricing, and profit. A multidimensional linked quantitative model was developed, consisting of three interrelated sub-models: the T&D pricing model, the operating forecast model, and the investment capacity model. Finally, a provincial grid company in Province S was selected as a case study for simulation. The annual investment capacity limits for the next two regulatory cycles were calculated under the constraints of total profit and debt-to-asset ratio, using the nonlinear Generalized Reduced Gradient (GRG) method. The T&D prices and operating conditions under the maximum investment scale were also determined. The case study results validate the feasibility of the multidimensional linked model.
