A study of the impact of green bond issuance on firms' new quality productive forces
In recent years, China has gained significant economic progress through conventional development patterns. Still, this achievement came with a big price - severe damage to environment. Right now, China should speed up changing its way of economic development. Science and tech innovation must become the core part of building new quality productive forces, which will push China's economy to grow better. This research paper looks at how green bonds issued by companies affect new quality productive forces by studying data of A-share companies listed in China between 2016 and 2022. Study method focuses on micro level analysis to find out relationship between these factors. Research results demonstrate that green bond issuance brings different effects on companies. The bonds make good use of capital and give rewards to companies. They also work like supervisors and make companies look better to others. These effects really help companies grow in a new and better way. Looking deeper into how it works, when companies get green bonds, they do not worry too much about money problems anymore. At the same time, these companies need to cut down their carbon output. Both things work together and push companies to develop in a more modern and good quality way.
