Research on Creative Methods Based on Kansei Engineering

Objective: Through the analysis of user demands and the integration of traditional culture into packaging creative design, this paper provides an innovative design method for enterprises that combines emotional engineering and statistical calculation methods. Method: By conducting user research, this approach combines statistical calculation methods with design practices to elaborate on specific strategies for incorporating traditional culture into packaging creative design. First, based on Kansei engineering, sensory vocabulary is collected from relevant materials, and a semantic differential method is employed to create an evaluation matrix to identify design elements. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is then used to convert sensory evaluation scales into engineering scales for design practice. Finally, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to score the proposals and select the design scheme that best satisfies the enterprise, thereby determining the final creative packaging design plan. Conclusion: This paper discusses practical methods for applying Kansei engineering, the Analytic Hierarchy Process, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods in creative product design. It provides a cross-disciplinary, complementary, and applicable creative approach to integrating user needs and traditional culture into packaging design, ultimately meeting user demands.

Abstract

Objective: Through the analysis of user demands and the integration of traditional culture into packaging creative design, this paper provides an innovative design method for enterprises that combines emotional engineering and statistical calculation methods. Method: By conducting user research, this approach combines statistical calculation methods with design practices to elaborate on specific strategies for incorporating traditional culture into packaging creative design. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is then used to convert sensory evaluation scales into engineering scales for design practice.
