Research on port carbon emission efficiency - based on super-efficiency SBM-GML index model
Under the 'dual carbon' initiative, green and low-carbon development has become the central theme of modern port construction. This paper integrates static efficiency evaluation using the DEA-SBM super-efficiency model with dynamic evaluation based on the Global Malmquist-Luenberger (GML) index, treating port carbon emissions as undesired outputs. The carbon emission efficiency of 10 coastal ports in China is measured, and based on the results, the development trends of carbon emission efficiency in Chinese ports are analyzed. Development countermeasures are proposed, providing a theoretical foundation for the low-carbon development of ports in the future.
