Oncoguía de leucemia mieloide crónica 2025
Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) BCR::ABL1+ is a myeloproliferative neoplasm derived from the hematopoietic progenitor cell. The natural history of untreated CML is biphasic or triphasic: an initial chronic indolent phase (CP), followed by an accelerated phase (AP), a blast phase (BP), or both. The current treatment goals are a life expectancy similar to that of the population without leukemia, with adequate quality of life and the possibility of treatment - free remission, which is potentially achievable with tyrosine kinase inhibitors. These cancer guidelines aim to describe the recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment, and follow - up of patients with BCR::ABL1+ CML.
