Study on the Interaction between Sex Ratio of Lampreys and Ecosystem

The Lotka-Volterra model was established to study the relationship between lampreys and other environmental entities. Considering the lamprey's sex ratio, we add a sex influence factor to adjust the model, resulting in Model of Population Dynamics Considering the Sex Ratio of Lampreys. We also find data on population density and lamprey sex to fit an approximate linear relationship between sex ratio and population density. Based on Model I, we discuss the impact of lampreys on ecosystems. We compare changes in population density under simulated environments with and without sex variability and analyze the results graphically. Therefore, we conclude that the lamprey's ability to change sex not only positively affects its own population stability but also benefits the stability of the entire ecosystem.
