Logical Ecological Assessment Model: Investigating the Impact of Species on Ecosystems

The ecosystem is the foundation upon which human survival depends and holds significant importance for humanity. Each species plays an indispensable role in the stability and functioning of the ecosystem. This paper takes the example of lampreys to explore their impact on the ecosystem. The sex ratio of lampreys is influenced by external environmental conditions, especially the growth rate during the larval stage, which determines the differentiation between males and females. In order to delve into the impact of lampreys on the ecosystem, we propose a logical ecological system assessment model. It incorporates the Logistic-Volterra model, which considers both the food chain and the deterrent effect of populations to study inter specific competition within the ecosystem. Additionally, it includes the \({\bar{x}}^* - \gamma\) model, treating lampreys as invaders and utilizing the Logistic-Volterra model to simulate ecosystem changes, thereby investigating the effect of changes in lamprey population sex ratios on ecosystem resilience and resistance stability. Experimental results validate the superiority and effectiveness of our approach.
