Study on the Impact of Large Scale Development of Distributed Photovoltaic on Grid Companies
Distributed photovoltaic (PV) technology plays a key role in strengthening the existing power infrastructure, cutting carbon emissions, promoting eco-friendly and energy-efficient power systems, and promoting the sustainable development of the power sector. However, the popularization of distributed PV technology has put grid companies under tremendous pressure. The investment level of the distribution system needs to be further improved, and at the same time, the semi-autonomous and self-consumption characteristics of distributed photovoltaic power generation may lead to a decrease in the power sales of the relevant enterprises. The purpose of this paper is to study the changes in power sales, distribution network investment and operation indexes caused by the large-scale application of distributed photovoltaic in Hunan Power Grid Company, and then to provide policy opinions related to electricity tariffs and power market, so as to realize the rational layout and growth of distributed photovoltaic and improve the performance indexes of enterprises.
