Research on Economic and Technical Evaluation of Foam Drainage Gas Production Process Based on Combination Weighting Approach

The formation of bottom-hole accumulation during gas field exploitation is a prevalent issue that significantly hampers the normal production of gas wells, leading to reduced productivity. To address this problem, foam drainage gas production technology has emerged as the predominant approach due to its rapid effectiveness, high efficiency, and convenient implementation. This study employs a combination weighting approach to investigate the economic and technical benefits as well as influencing factors of foam drainage gas recovery process, aiming to assist enterprises in identifying key factors, making scientific decisions, reducing operational costs, and enhancing enterprise benefits. Taking the Yan 145 and Yan 518 well area in the Yanchang Gas Field as an example, a comprehensive evaluation system for the economical and technical aspects of foam drainage gas production process was established by selecting nine indicators including ROI, process cost, and increased gas production, therefore construct a comprehensive evaluation system for the economy and technology of the foam drainage gas production process. Subsequently, the entropy weight method and variation coefficient method were employed for comprehensive calculation. The findings reveal that increased gas production, financial internal rate of return (IRR), and financial net present value (NPV) ratio are pivotal factors affecting economic and technical benefits. This provides a certain reference for enterprises.
