THE SUPERPOSITION OF TWO SURFACES WITH SINGLE-POINT FRACTAL CHARACTERISTICS
This paper focuses on the changes in fractal dimensions that stem from the superposition of two fractal surfaces characterized by single-point fractal features. A detailed exploration of the variations in the box dimension for such single-point fractal surfaces has been carried out. It is noted that these surfaces demonstrate fractal characteristics either at the same point or at different points. Our findings indicate that when the surfaces possess fractal features at different points, the fractal dimension of the superimposed surface complies with the absorption law. In contrast, substantial differences emerge when the fractal features are presented at the same point.
