Strategi self-regulated learning dan kontribusinya pada prestasi akademik siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan

This study aims to understand the application of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) in high-achieving students at the Navy-based Pharmacy Vocational High School (SMK). SRL is the ability to systematically manage cognition, emotion, and behavior to achieve learning goals. The research subjects consisted of four high-achieving students selected based on consistent academic performance and active participation in learning. Data were collected through structured interviews and analyzed using verbatim transcription, data reduction, and data presentation. The results identified six key factors influencing SRL: motivation and learning goals, learning evaluation, effective learning strategies, time management, self-improvement, and technology utilization. Findings highlight that students use intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, such as parental encouragement and financial incentives, to enhance learning. Furthermore, they actively evaluate their learning progress, apply adaptive strategies, and utilize technology to support their academic success. This research underscores the importance of SRL as a crucial skill in fostering students' academic achievements in the 21st century.
