Double Acceptance Sampling Inspection Plans Based on Truncated Life Tests for Type I Half-Logistic Nadarajah–Haghighi Distribution

In this paper, we developed double acceptance sampling inspection plan (DAS) for time truncated life test when the lifespan of items follow type I half-logistic Nadarajah–Haghighi (TIHLNH) distribution. TIHLNH is discussed in detail along with its median property. Methodology of DAS plan is described along with the procedure of sample size determination, operating characteristic (OC) curve and minimum ratio of true median life to specified median life. A comparative study is conducted to justify the advantages of the proposed DAS plan compared with other ASP under some types of distributions. A real-life example is demonstrated to prove the relevance of proposed study.
