Hepatitis-B-Infektion als Berufskrankheit bei Feuerwehrleuten
Hepatitis B infection as an occupational disease among firefighters1 Taking into account the nature of the working environment, other insured persons may also be exposed to a risk of infection to a similar extent as employees in the health service, welfare services or in a laboratory. If the nature of the insured activity entails such a risk situation, the possibility that the respective infection may have occurred as a result of the specific activities performed is sufficient for the determination of BK 3101. This decision specifies when a particularly increased risk of infection for other occupational groups can be assumed.
