Study on the Evaluation and Training Strategies of Middle-distance Running among College Students

Objective: By using the accurate evaluation and training monitoring in the middle- distance running training, the purpose of the study is to conduct targeted training guidance, improve the efficiency of the middle-distance running training and reduce the training injuries. Methods: 18 freshmen from a university were randomly selected. In the 2-month special training of 3000 meters, the team heart rate system and blood lactate monitoring technology were used, and the data was analyzed by Excel2010 and SPSS19.0. Results: Through the training program designed in this study, the 7-day average resting heart rate and blood lactic acid value after running showed very significant difference; the 3000m running performance showed significant difference, and no sports injury occurred during the training. Conclusion: During the heart rate system and blood lactic acid monitoring technology, which can significantly improve the training efficiency of long-distance running, and help to prevent physical injuries caused by long-term overtraining. In the middle-distance training of college students, the team heart rate system and blood lactate monitoring technology that can accurately monitor the intensity of individual physiological load can significantly improve the training efficiency of college students in middle-distance running, and also help to prevent physical injuries caused by long-term overtraining.
