Metaverse Sports Teaching: Virtual Reality Integration and Innovation in College Physical Education Courses

This study discusses the concept of meta-universe and the application of virtual reality technology in college physical education and its influence on teaching effect. Research has shown that the meta-universe provides an immersive interactive virtual environment capable of transcends the limitations of time to provide students with a rich and authentic sports experience. Physical education in the meta-universe can meet the environmental needs of physical education, stimulate students' learning enthusiasm, improve teaching efficiency, and promote diversified teaching innovation. Virtual reality technology has significantly improved students' interest in sports learning, sports skills and physical health, and provided a new perspective and method for college sports teaching.
