Design of a computer game competition system based on Netty

The University Computer Games Championship & National Computer Games Tournament are among the most authoritative computer game competitions in China. Based on real project requirements, this paper designs a competition system for the event, aiming to meet the needs of concurrent game-playing by a large number of game algorithms and provide a training environment for contestants to test and optimize their algorithms. The proposed solution includes system architecture design, custom communication protocol design, and differentiated link design. Concurrent testing results show that the average system response time is reduced by 52.3% compared to the traditional Netty solution, and throughput is increased by 38.18%. The tests validate the system's superiority and stability in high-concurrency scenarios.
