Masterutdannede barnehagelærere – mellom myndighetenes intensjoner og barnehageeiernes ansvar
Based on individual interviews with six representatives of kindergarten owners, the author attempts to shed light on what kindergarten owners think about increased investment in master-educated kindergarten teachers in kindergarten and how they work to accommodate this investment. What emerges from the interviews is a desire for increased expertise, and kindergarten owners express a need for the competence. However, the way kindergarten owners work to facilitate the integration of this expertise for the benefit of children and the kindergarten varies. There seems to be a gap between what kindergarten owners desire and the Constraints within the economic framework of kindergartens, as well as between the kindergarten owner's aspirations and their willingness to take measures to fulfill these desires.
