Research on network rumor propagation models inspired by volcanic eruptions
Inspired by the dynamics of volcanic eruptions, a rumor propagation dynamics model is constructed. Individual states are categorized into four types: dormant, active, eruptive, and inactive. Dynamic equations governing state transitions are established. By drawing an analogy to the nonlinear characteristics of energy accumulation and release during volcanic eruptions, the dynamic mechanisms of rumor propagation are explored. A correspondence between volcanic eruption parameters and rumor propagation characteristics is established, enabling a quantitative description of the rumor dissemination process. Numerical simulations analyze the impact of key parameters on rumor propagation. The results indicate that the model effectively characterizes the explosive nature and dynamic accumulation process of rumor spreading, providing a new theoretical perspective for the prevention and control of rumor dissemination.
