Comprehensive suppression technology for clutter in wind farms using air traffic control radar
Wind turbines used for wind power generation, as a special type of tall obstacle in motion, can have a significant impact on the performance of air traffic control radar equipment, which is very unfavorable for target detection and tracking. Relying on a single technology to suppress wind farm clutter is not ideal, and it is necessary to combine multiple technologies to achieve radar suppression of wind farm clutter. This article summarizes the technologies currently available for wind farm suppression, points out their usage methods, and finally verifies the effectiveness of individual and comprehensive technologies through simulation. The results show that comprehensive suppression technology can effectively suppress wind farm clutter.
