Swollen legs and false nephrotic syndrome: a case of primary lymphatic dysplasia with intermittent chyluria
Chyluria should be considered in patients presenting with milky urine and proteinuria, especially after excluding glomerular pathology.Non-parasitic causes, such as trauma or iatrogenic procedures like renal biopsy, are increasingly recognized in non-endemic regions.Conservative management, particularly dietary modifications with medium-chain triglycerides can lead to significant clinical improvement without invasive interventions.
