Direction measurement of radiation from leaky coaxial cables with GPS/BDS dual-mode simulator
With the continuous development of modern communication and perception technology, there are high requirements for the radiation characteristics of leaky coaxial cables (LCX). Accurate measurement of radiation direction is one of the difficulties in microwave measurement. Satellite navigation simulator signals can provide accurate distance information, making it easier to measure distance and direction. This paper proposes that the LCX radiation angle can be measured by using parallel structured LCX and double-ended excitation navigation signals. The dual-mode simulator coordinate points are the same, which eliminates the special requirements for the satellite constellation. The experimental results show that the measurement method is effective and easy to implement.
