DEVELOPMENT OF ALGORITHMIC PROVISION FOR A DISTANCE LEARNING SYSTEM FOR THE NAVAL ENGINEERING BASICS

Most modern distance learning courses or distance learning systems do not allow a student preparing to receive an engineering diploma to use modern computer applications due to the high cost of their licenses required to perform laboratory or practical work, but this is precisely what helps the student obtain the necessary professional skills that he will need in his future profession, and without which he simply will not be competitive in the modern labor market. Therefore, the development of distance learning systems that implement the possibility of obtaining practical work skills by students of technical specialties is especially relevant at the moment, when most young people in Ukraine do not have the opportunity to attend educational institutions or simply do not have the time for it.In the article the main shortcomings of existing distance education models, which allowed to justify the need to create a new model of distance learning for shipbuilding students, as well as future designers, in the basics of modern ship engineering with the ability to perform laboratory work in real time with the simultaneous use of three modern systems: Moodle, CADMATIC and TeamViewer, each of which can be replaced by a corresponding analogue, were analyzed. At the same time, the analysis of the requirements for such distance learning systems allowed to develop and describe its components -modules and blocks, which made it possible to perform the main structural and functional schemes of the system, as well as to determine the structure and features of individual modules and subsystems, which ultimately allowed to describe the general algorithm of the system, that is, algorithmic support was developed. Thus, on the basis of the presented model, structural and functional schemes, as well as the algorithm of work, an automated distance learning system for the implementation of engineering education was detailed, namely, algorithmic support for the system was developed, which will allow the student to obtain full-fledged practical skills and abilities in the field of ship design.
