Design of a code acquisition method for low-earth orbit satellites with high dynamics
To address the difficulty of code acquisition for low-earth orbit satellites with high dynamics, a code acquisition method utilizing partial correlation and FFT joint operation is proposed to solve the problem of fast acquisition for large frequency offset, low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) signals. The proposed method employs partial correlation and parallel FFT to simultaneously achieve code acquisition and Doppler frequency estimation. Compared with traditional correlation-based methods, this method can adapt to a wider range of Doppler frequency offsets and lower SNR. Moreover, this method comprehensively considers the trade-off between acquisition performance, frequency estimation accuracy, and resource utilization, and reasonably designs the length of partial correlation and the number of FFT points to reduce implementation complexity and hardware resources.
