Estimation of Efficiency of Amplitude Suppression of non-Gaussian Pulse Noise
Methods of constructing models of two-dimensional probability distributions are considered. The conditions of absence of real models singularity are determined. It is shown that the method of obtaining one-dimensional models of non-Gaussian noise cannot be used for its multidimensional models. The use of the method of obtaining multidimensional models of non-Gaussian noise as a result of filtering a Poisson flow of pulses is justified. The simulation results of two-dimensional non-Gaussian probability distribution densities at different correlation coefficients are presented. The potential gain of processing when the dependence between the counts of atmospheric radio noise is taken into account in relation to the method of their amplitude suppression is estimated. It is shown that the fluctuation component of the atmospheric radio noise field under certain conditions behaves similarly to Gaussian noise. It is shown that there is a significant increase in the degree of suppression of the impulse component of atmospheric radio noise during suppression taking into account the dependence of adjacent noise samples. The potential efficiency of suppression of non-Gaussian impulse noise is determined.
