Using BPMN to Improve Quality Insurance in Algerian High-Education Systems
This study aims to explore the potential of using BPMN to improve quality assurance in Algerian higher education institutions, with a specific focus on the exam and assessment platform in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Mohamed Khider. Building upon the framework provided by the DIGITAQ project-a digital ecosystem for quality assurance in Algerian higher education developed under ERASMUS+-this research seeks to address the inefficiencies and challenges faced by these institutions. By developing and implementing a tailored BPMN framework, this study aligns with DIGITAQ's objectives of standardizing quality practices across higher education domains. The significance of this study lies in its potential to offer a practical solution to quality assurance challenges, particularly within the context of exam and assessment processes. This research not only fills a critical gap in the existing literature but also presents a framework adaptable to other educational contexts. The findings will contribute to the broader field of educational process improvement and provide valuable insights for policymakers, administrators, and researchers.
