Investigation of Stability Indicators of High-precision Generators Relative to the GNSS System Scale by Using a Navigation Receiver

This paper considers the methods of using GNSS for estimating the parameters of generator frequency drift and synchronizing them on the GNSS system time scale. The characteristics of highly stable generators and mathematical models of phase and frequency drift are given. A comparative analysis of the methods of mathematical statistics and Allan variations in determining the numerical characteristics of generator instability is given.

Abstract

This paper considers the methods of using GNSS for estimating the parameters of generator frequency drift and synchronizing them on the GNSS system time scale. The characteristics of highly stable generators and mathematical models of phase and frequency drift are given. A comparative analysis of the methods of mathematical statistics and Allan variations in determining the numerical characteristics of generator instability is given.
