An Efficient Repetitive Technique Based on Rank-Ordered Absolute Differences and Mean Filter for Suppressing Incidental-Magnitude Impulse Noise

In the noise suppressing surrounding, intensely Incidental-Magnitude Impulse Noise (IMIN), the regular noise suppressing technique, which is occasionally intermingled by the noise observing method and the noise filtering method, is an obligatory preprocessing technique that must be operated previous to the primary convoluted computer vision methods. Consequently, one of the practical and efficient noise observing method is the ROAD (Rank-Ordered-Absolute-Differences), which is proffered in 2008 for IMIN. Hence, this paper proffers the efficient repetitive technique, which is developed from the ordinary noise suppressing technique based on ROAD-AMF for IMIN, that is based on ROAD observing method with mean filter (MF) method under the repetitive framework. In the experimental section, various computer portrayals, which are intermingled of Lena, Girl and Baboon on wide IMIN density, are operated by the efficient repetitive technique (R-ROAD-MF) in comparability to anterior noise suppressing techniques: MF, SMF, AMF and ROAD-AMF. Because of these outstanding results, the efficient noise suppressing technique using R-ROAD-MF technique is more efficient than anterior noise suppressing techniques.
