Ontology and Knowledge Graph Construction of Thai Traditional Medicine
Thai traditional medicine (TTM) has been an important part of healthcare in Thailand. However, TTM faces challenges that limit its acceptance and integration into the modern healthcare system. These challenges include a lack of standardized documentation and scientific evidence. Furthermore, the knowledge of TTM is often fragmented and localized with practitioners relying heavily on oral transmission. In addition, there is limited knowledge, making it difficult to access and apply this information effectively in a clinical setting. To address these issues, this research proposes the development of ontology and the construction of a TTM knowledge graph. The ontology provides a framework for TTM knowledge, while the knowledge graph represents information from ontology. This approach aims to enhance the accessibility and usability of TTM, facilitating its integration into medical practices. The knowledge graph is important for the medical field as it enables better data organization, supports clinical decision-making, and helps discover new insights for treatments.
