The Practical Fallen of the Concrete Pole for Distribution System 24kV (MEA.) due to the impact of the Overhead Communication Cable

This article presents the analysis of the fallen of the MEA’s concrete pole through the influential communication cables by using the total bending moment method (BM.). Moreover, the BM. was analyzed at significant conditions such as the height of a concrete pole as 12 meters and the maximum BM. as 3500 kg*m and 5000 kg*m, the span distance as 20, 30, and 40 meters, respectively. Nowadays, The MEA’s concrete pole has been illustrated with the increasing communication cable which this problem may be causing the falling MEA’s concrete pole. Therefore, this article analyzes to determine the optimum number of communication cables for installation at the MEA’s concrete pole. Particularly, the communication cable in this case study is All Dielectric Self Support type (ADSS cable).

Abstract

This article presents the analysis of the fallen of the MEA’s concrete pole through the influential communication cables by using the total bending moment method (BM.).
