Algorithms for Processing and Analyzing Speech Signals of People with Mental Retardation

The article presents algorithms for processing and analyzing speech signals of people with mental retardation (MR), aimed at identifying specific features of speech and significant parameters characteristic of this group of patients. The study includes algorithms based on digital signal processing and statistical analysis methods, which allows for detailed segmentation of speech signals, including the identification of tonal and non-tonal areas, as well as the analysis of pauses in speech. The developed algorithms are aimed at automating the procedure of processing and comparative analysis of the amplitude, frequency and time informative parameters of speech signals, as well as detecting significant parameters of speech signals of persons with MR.
