Design of Flexible and Modified Triangular Shaped Patch Antenna for Body-Worn Application
This work describes the design, investigation, and functional validation of a triangular antenna for body-worn applications. Wearable antenna design must take into account a number of important aspects, such as radiation pattern, resilience to the shifting dielectric conditions in the human body, and miniaturization. Four semicircular slots are incorporated into the modified triangular patch that is included of the design. The suggested antenna is 22 × 34 × 2 mm3 in overall. With a reasonable performance, this triangular microstrip antenna is constructed and examined at 2.4 GHz. In addition to establishing solutions for optimization in body-centric communication systems including the Internet of Things, health monitoring, and evacuation devices, the suggested antenna assures excellent compromises in bandwidth, effectiveness, and radiation aspects.
