A Simple Memristor with Passive Devices
The memristor is recognized as the fourth passive electrical component, complementing resistors, capacitors, and inductors. It establishes a direct relationship between electric charge and magnetic flux. As a bipolar passive element, the memristor exhibits nonlinear hysteresis behavior within a specific frequency range. Currently, there are no practical memristors available on the market, nor are there any models capable of operating across a sufficiently wide frequency band. This paper presents a model for the memristor using fundamental electrical elements and diodes. It is a simple model that demonstrates how the properties of a memristor can be derived from the properties of passive devices.
