Design and Analysis of Circular Shaped Graphene Antenna for THz Communication
In this article, a circular-shaped wideband Graphene antenna for THz communication is presented. The proposed THz antenna is designed on the polyimide substrate (ϵr = 3.5) with a thickness of 10 μm. The proposed THz antenna achieved a wideband from 2.27 to 9.21 THz, with a bandwidth of 6.94 THz. The impedance bandwidth % is 120.9 %. The peak gain of the suggested THz is 3.37 dBi. The various substrate and antenna radiator materials are analyzed. The suggested THz antenna performance is measured through the surface current distribution, gain, and radiation patterns. Hence it is a suitable candidate for the THz applications.
