Dual-Frequency Dual-Polarized Omnidirectional Duplex Antenna for 4G/5G Communications
A dual-frequency dual-polarized omnidirectional cylindrical dielectric resonant antenna (CDRA) is proposed for wireless frequency division duplex communication system applications. The proposed CDRA operates in 1.8 GHz and 3.5 GHz bands (N3 and N77 frequency bands). The in-band coupling coefficient of the antenna is lower than -25 dB and -20 dB in 1.8 GHz and 3.5 GHz bands, respectively. All resonant modes have desirable omnidirectional radiation fields with low cross-polar levels. The maximum omnidirectional gain is higher than 1 dBi.
