An Implementation of a Dual-Channel Oscilloscope Using FPGA
This article details the development of a dual-channel portable oscilloscope with a VGA display. The design utilizes the ADC AD9226 module and the ALTERA MAX 10 FPGA, with VHDL for circuit synthesis. The oscilloscope measures input signals within a ±10 V range at a 12-bit resolution, supporting frequencies up to 100 kHz. Waveforms are displayed on a VGA monitor at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Compared to the commercial digital oscilloscope RIGOL DS1104Z, the proposed dual-channel oscilloscope offers comparable performance.
