Development of a State Machine for Trust Assessment in Cyber-Physical Systems

This paper discusses the use of state machines for analyzing and evaluating the stability of cyber-physical systems. The focus is on typical system architecture, including a high-level control layer, a network layer, a low-level control layer, and a physical layer. Key factors affecting flight stability, such as aerodynamic performance, control systems and external influences, are investigated. Developed metrics for stability analysis to help quantify the state of the system and identify potential problems. An important part of the work is the final assessment of the condition of the machine, which integrates the results of all previous stages of analysis, allowing for a consistent and justified assessment. The experimental study conducted within the framework of this work confirms the effectiveness of the proposed approach, showing that the use of state machines can significantly improve the quality of flight [1] stability assessment. The results of the study have practical implications for the development of more robust cyber-physical systems.
