Approach for Analyzing the Performance of 5G Networks During the Initial Planning Phase Without Deployment Using the NS-3 Network Simulator

This study aims to enhance the performance of fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks. The research involves analyzing existing approaches to the design and deployment of 5G infrastructure, as well as conducting simulation experiments using current network configurations. These experiments will provide insights into key parameters of 5G systems and enable the evaluation of their performance at the preliminary planning stage, thereby reducing risks and improving the accuracy of network deployment. This approach will facilitate more efficient network planning, particularly for industrial Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Optimizing 5G networks for industrial needs will unlock advanced capabilities such as real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and seamless integration of equipment and devices. This, in turn, will support Industry 4.0 initiatives, enhancing productivity and boosting the competitiveness of industrial enterprises.
