Tectonic Plate Interactions and Seismic Hazard Prediction: A Detailed Study Using GPS Stress Vectors and Geophysical Data
Understanding tectonic plate movements is crucial for geological and seismological research. This study employs GPS stress vector analysis to map and interpret the tectonic plate movements. By analyzing GPS data, the study reveals the relative motions and interactions of various tectonic plates, providing insights into seismic risks and geological processes. The data helps identify stress accumulation zones, potential earthquake epicenters, and areas of tectonic activity. Furthermore, our analysis helps in understanding the geological processes driving these movements, such as subduction, rifting, and continental drift. By integrating this GPS data with other geophysical observations, we contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the region’s tectonic dynamics, ultimately aiding in the development of more effective monitoring and mitigation strategies for natural disasters related to tectonic activities.
