Exploring Blockchain-Enabled Secure Storage and Trusted Data Sharing Mechanisms in IoT Systems

The cloud-based storage solutions have greatly facilitated data processing, storage, and sharing in the IoT. Although it has positively impacted, the existing cloud-based architecture poses risks to user privacy and could lead to massive data leaks. In contrast, the cloud-based architecture is run in a centralized control fashion and depends mainly on a trusted third-party auditor (TPA). Nevertheless, the TPA's reliability is questionable, and the central system could fail due to an isolated incident. Thank goodness blockchain technology has helped spread the word about decentralized storage models. Unlike a centralized control architecture, a decentralized storage system eliminates the need for a single point of failure and the rule of TPA while simultaneously providing other benefits, such as cheap storage prices and high throughput. Using a practical Byzantine fault-tolerant (PBFT) mechanism, Supplementing Transaction BCT is a way to establish an agreement. The proposed method has the potential to significantly enhance BCT data registration, transactions, and privacy protection. Preventing local dominance is achievable through the dynamic game strategy of node cooperation. Another way to estimate the unknown node's state is to disclose its global reputation value. We get the Bayesian equilibrium by using the high-trust measure to change the combined nodeset's weight for the impacted node. We conduct numerous experimental simulations to ensure the suggested model is valid and compare the results to those of state-of-the-art approaches. Results demonstrate that proposed solutions outperform the control group in all four metrics measured: statistical efficiency, dependability, stability, and temporal delay.
