Artificial Intelligence in a Modern Information and Computing Complex for Managing the Operating Modes of Power Supply Systems

At present, information technology systems are increasingly being developed, resulting in the need for more efficient interaction and data processing. Modern data volumes are becoming so large that a person is not always able to effectively cope with the task at hand. This leads to the need to create and use automated systems that can reduce the workload on a person. One of such systems is the information and computing complex “Gorizont ”. To ensure more efficient interaction in the Horizon IVC, it is proposed to implement a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence since it can significantly increase the efficiency of the system, providing fast data processing, automation of routine tasks and simplification of interaction with users. This will reduce the workload of personnel, minimize errors and increase overall productivity. The virtual assistant will be able to analyze data, predict events and make decisions, making the Gorizont system a more flexible and adaptive program. Further development of the idea of introducing artificial intelligence will allow data exchange between certified systems of JSC Russian Railways and the system operator: OIC Dispatcher of JSC SO UES, IVK Gorizont, ARM of the Energy Dispatcher of JSC Russian Railways, ARM of the train dispatcher of JSC Russian Railways. Such unification of systems will allow to optimize the operating modes of external and traction power supply systems leading to more rational consumption of electrical energy.
