Transforming Agriculture through Intelligent Farming: A Sustainable Pathway
Plant diseases lead to significant losses in both productivity and economic value, as well as a decline in the quality and quantity of agricultural yields. The identification of plant diseases has become an increasingly important aspect of agricultural monitoring. Farmers often face challenges when transitioning between different disease management strategies. Traditionally, plant disease detection relies on skilled visual inspection. This study examines the need for a simple system to detect plant leaf diseases, aimed at supporting agricultural advancements. Early detection of crop health issues and disease identification can help implement effective management practices, thereby improving agricultural productivity. The report also highlights the pros and cons of various approaches to disease detection.
