The Synergistic Rheological Properties of Hydrophobic Associated Polymers by Emulsion Microspheres
Polymer rheology for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) has reached a mature stage, and emulsion microspheres have started a heat wave in profile control. However, there has been no systematic report on the combination of the two and their rheological characteristics. A self-made emulsion microsphere and the hydrophobic association polymer (AP-P4) were mixed to obtain the mixture, and the microstructure of the mixture was obtained by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and optical microscope. At the same time, the rheological characteristics of the mixture were tested at different salinity, shear rate and temperature.
